| Training For Township Renewal: a case study |
|
The Training For Township Renewal Initiative aims to document experiences that illustrate innovative approaches to area-based development. THE initiative is a partnership between the South African Cities Network, the Neighbourhood Development Programme of National Treasury, the Urban Renewal Programme of the Department of Cooperative Governance, the Development Bank of South Africa and Urban LandMark. This case study looks at retail centres and township development. We show you one centre that was part of the study: the Jabulani Mall in Soweto. |
