A paper presented at a UN conference in Cambodia in 2002 on rural-urban linkages and the role of small and medium-sized towns in development: issues, concepts and policies.
Peter Hall presented this paper at the Cata Manor Development Assocation (CMDA) conference in January 2003, looking at urban trends worldwide and fitting different cities into a global development framework as well as looking at where SA cities fit into this pattern.
Camden has made considerable progress in developing e-government and has initiated over 30 projects, including a citizen-focused website, a virtual call centre for housing repairs, the development of a local land and property gazetteer and the provision of community ICT facilities.
