GAUTENG
In its efforts to improve service delivery in health care, the Gauteng provincial government has decided to take over ambulance running functions from local authorities.
HEALTH
Cape Town's eight health sub-districts boast
the best rate of curing tuberculosis in South Africa. And two of
the sub-districts can claim a cure rate that is just a few percentage
points short of the WHO's goal.

A pilot project will soon supply 130 houses
