Rollout of jobs programme
gets under way The expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) was launched in Gauteng, with the provincial authority setting aside R3 billion to create 100,000 jobs. The Gauteng programme is the fifth to be launched after Limpopo, Northern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga. The programme will be launched in the Eastern and Western Cape later this week.
