A key aspect of developing successful cities is ensuring that there is a safe, reliable and affordable public transport network to provide all urban citizens with the mobility needed to travel between homes and workplaces and to attend to their daily needs.
The South African Cities Network has developed a Mobility and Public Transport programme which aims to deepen understanding around sustainable, integrated and equitable transport options in urban areas.
The South African Cities Network has developed a number of publications over the years addressing mobility and public transport for urban South African citizens.
